AmigaParadise was offline for a few hours today because we migrated to our own dedicated server. It was challenging, but it's finally done.

What's new? This server is faster, and there shouldn't be any more lag spikes like on our old shared server. I've also fixed the email system, so you can now register on the site again to take advantage of the advanced features (custom playlists, favorites management, and software reviews and ratings).

The audio files are still being uploaded, so not all playlists are fully functional yet (if the audio player refuses to start, it means the files aren't there yet), but you can already download the .zip archives.

Comments have arrived on Amiga Paradise!
You can now leave comments on the news I post, as well as on the game pages, cracktros, demos, etc. You can also rate the soundtracks from 0 to 10.

The comment/rating system is currently located at the bottom of the pages, but I may reorganize the way the pages are visually presented in the future.

I'm also taking this opportunity to announce that I've fixed several minor display bugs, particularly on the dashboard and the database page.

- Full Contact - re-recorded. Added Title Screen & Menu musics.
- Grand Monster Slam - re-recorded & added Jingles.
- Impossamole - re-recorded. Added Highscore Theme and Direct From Composer versions.
- Lemmings - re-recorded. Added Introduction audio.
- T2: The Arcade Game - re-recorded. Added a missing track.

The news system is finally deployed and operational. This is an opportunity for me to welcome you (again) to AmigaParadise.
Whether you've known the site since its inception or are just discovering it today, many changes have been made: first, you can register on the site to take advantage of our brand new favorites and personalized playlists system, and also to download archives available on each software page. More is coming, such as a request system, a comment system, and a rating system.

Since the site's launch, I've been working to fill the databases so that each software page is complete; it's a fairly lengthy process that will still require several months of work.

In the meantime, I'm trying to identify soundtracks of poor quality, or that have become corrupted over time, and re-record them. You can already enjoy the recently re-recorded Lemmings soundtrack (I'll do another post very soon to give you the complete list of what's already been done).

I also wanted to thank the administrators of The Abandonware Ring who funded the server that hosts us and allows AmigaParadise to come back from the dead.
